back from Scouts Camp!!! enjoyed myself really much. this camp rock socks!!
SATURDAY, 17 MAY 2008
we were all in school by 6 am! can you belive it? 6 am when it was all dark, we were in school, registering for scouts camp. about 7.10 am, after the seniors spotchecked our bags, we went to the field to set up our tents. then, at 7.20 am, we gathered at the space in front of Bengkel KH for the opening ceremony. after that, those taking Usaha badge gotta STUDY with the Maju badge people as we are having exams tomorrow!! what the crap?! we just finished our Mid-Terms!! T.T oh well...

shared a tent with Zhen Ni and Johannah. messy tent. LOL.
we went back to the field to get our stuff to cook lunch. i cooked lunch, which is
fried rice, and it was quite ok. haha.
at least i didn't poison any of my patrol members. LOL. after lunch, we resume studying a while.
bummer. later, we had
Halangan Komando.
gosh, it was so awesome!!!
mud + sand + water = LOTS OF FUN!!!
and lots of pain and injury as the sand is coarse...

5.30 pm, we had
water bomb fight!!!
all scouts members VS BOD members and ASMs.eventually the ASMs and BOD members
won cause the juniors wasted the water bombs..
=_=' but we had fun though, cause
we PLs kenakan one of the BOD member kau kau. hehe.
after games,
we were given time until 9 pm to shower, cook dinner, clean up our cooking area and prepare for Cultural Night perfomance according to our respective patrols. cooking dinner in the dark is no easy job. but i manage to do it. heh. cracked our minds to think of something to perform during
Cultural Night cause time was limited. but thank goodness that my patrol combined with
Justin's patrol ( Enggang ), so it was ok.
Cultural Night was fun and enjoyable, but i was exhausted. so, i didn't really had the mood.
we PLs and some APLs put up a performance as well, and it was hilarious!! the
Remaja scouts really put up a great show for their perfomance, it really made us all enjoyed it.
=D Xia Shuen strumming the guitar, playing "When You Say Nothing At All" with all the Remaja scouts singing along. we sang along too. we had tons of fun..
SUNDAY, 18TH MAY 2008at
12.30 am, we all head off to bed. had some difficulites sleeping cause
inside the tent was kinda stuffy. i slept, eventually. and the BODs woke us up at
2.50 am to play
OBH ( Operasi Burung Hantu ). Sir David told us
true ghost stories, and some of us were really
freaked out. but i was quite calm.
being blinfolded and hearing true ghost stories is not really fun unless you are a dare devil.
xP after the
ghost stories, BODs put us to diff places.
i was placed somewhere without anyone around. now
THAT, is really scary.
plus, it was really cold. but after quite some time,
thecuts and bruises on my legs started to irritate me. so, i had to stop playing
OBH and ask
Sir Hui Liam to check out the cause of the irritation.
bummer man.
ended up, i just walked around, quitely laughing at those who had flour all over their bodies. LOL. but the worst was
Justin and Leslie. really hilarious.
didn't had a camera with me to snap a pic of both of them. sad case.
the game ended at about
5.20 am, so we were given
10 minutes to clean up and head back to sleep.
me, my sis and Wen Min didn't sleep though. so what did we do?
well, we ate watermelon!! Wen Min ate
leftover rice with soya sauce. LOL.
Sir Clement came over and talked with us cause the rest of them were sleeping in their tents. we laughed our heads off! then, he headed back to get some rest, so we continue with our
watermelon. as it was quite cold, we only finished
a quater of the half-cut watermelon Wen Min brought. we decided to sleep outside as inside the tent it was stuffy.
so i laid a sleeping bag on the grass, and the 3 of us slept there.
and we slept under the stars too!!!

sunrise at 7.04 am. awesome.
at bout 7.10 am, Sir Carlson blew the whistle to wake us up. we were told that we had to cook breakfast, eat and clean up our cooking area by 8.30 am. as the toilet was packed, i brushed my teeth and washed my face beside the drain! LOL. breakfast was ok. me, my sis, Calvin Chee, Julia and Jun Yi had watermelon too!!! just so you know, we had watermelon every single meal. hahaha. we kept the watermelon in the ice box, so it is so nice and cold!!
3/4 finished.

after breakfast, resume studying a bit and revising for our Usaha badge theory exam. *sob* it was raining heavily, and i'm sure that our tents are gonna be really wet... the theory exam wasn't that bad, at least i only tembak a few questions. LOL. so, i had half an hour left, i slept cause i didn't had enough rest. after our exam, we had to cook lunch. had fried potatoes and omelette for lunch. yum!! we added some salt into our fried potatoes, so it tasted like french fries!! haha. had watermelon, AGAIN. LOL.
as we were given time til 2.15 pm to cook, clean up our cooking area, take down our tents and clear our campsite, we ate fast and clean up. it was blazing hot. we cleaned up the campsite as well so that we won't get dropped by the ASMs and BODs.
by 3 pm, we were all divided into groups to clean up places around school. i helped to clear the drain, and to tell you the truth, our school drain system is badly clogged. -_- we were helped by the Remaja scouts too. so it made the work easier.
played a game called "Crack The Code" while waiting for the rest to finsh cleaning up. really fun!! lazy to explain the game though... LOL. me and Calvin ate watermelon - AGAIN while waiting for them to finish playing the game. Chiet Chun entertained us with his guitar. haha. the funny part was:
Guo Hao was lying on the ground, closing his eyes. then, Wei Qin had a stone in his hand, when Guo Hao opened his mouth, Wei Qin threw the stone into his mouth and all of us burst into laughter. if we did not tell him that there was a stone in his mouth, i bet he will just swallow it down!!! poor guy.
had closing ceremony at 5.30 pm. congrats to:
1. Justin's patrol ( Enggang ) for winning the Best Patrol Award
2. Kelly Lim for winning the Most Outstanding Female Participant Award (Muda)
3. YiYang for winning the Best Male Participant Award
4. Ee Suen for winning the Most Oustanding Remaja Participant Award
5. (forgot his name xP ) for winning the Most Cooperative Participant Award
and every patrol leaders were given 100 plus to share with the patrol members!!! woohoo!! then, we went back to the canteen to wait for Zhen Ni cause we wanna camwhore.

slept for 13 hours. finally i got enough rest, but still feeling exahusted. need to finish up KGT and Sejarah project. *sobs*
