PL and APL Course!

It was a blast!! Despite the hot weather followed by the rain and thunder, it was the bomb. We were split into patrols according to names of Greek Gods. 

There's:

Apollo (God of Sun) - God of music, prophecies, poetry, archery, light and truth. Associated with the sun.

Poseidon (God of the Sea) - God of earthquakes as well. Also called 'Earth Shaker' and 'Storm Bringer'.

Eros (Goddess of Love) - In particular erotic, romantic, love. He is often represented blindfolded because love is often blind.

Luna (Goddess of the Moon) - Called Luna by the Romans, Selene and Artemis by the Greeks and many other names in other mythologies. Also known as the Goddess of Healing. 

Stella (Goddess of Stars) - She is called Mary, Star of the Sea and protects those who make their living on the oceans such as mariners and seafarers. The moon also connects Her with the sea and its tides.

Athena (Goddess of Wisdom) - Goddess of warfare, handicrafts and reason as well. She is the wisest of the Gods. 

Zeus (King of the Gods) - The ruler of Mount Olympus. Also known as the God of the sky and thunder.

Zeus and Athena is the Council member's patrol and the ASM's patrol. It was really fun, the games were very exciting, and we learnt many new stuff. We learnt this one from Miss Jia Yi:

I mean, you might not really get it, but it was addictive and it spread like a disease.  xD

Besides, we:

- had flag ceremony

- did some marching

- learnt several new tepukan

- played games

- learnt the new patrol system

- learnt first aid

- built gadgets

But I'm gonna miss it tomorrow. It's a two-day course, but due to some reasons, I'm not going tomorrow.   ):  Oh well... At least I had fun on the first day itself.  (:
